Topics covered include Wills, Discretionary Trusts, Vulnerable Persons Trusts, Power of Attorney, Court of Protection applications, Estate Planning and Probate. We are considering starting a Men's Group at the Sheffield Carers Centre
 This new initiative aims to provide a supportive environment for male carers to connect and share experiences. Please share your opinions with us by completing a small number of questions by clicking on more details. Your input will be invaluable in shaping the structure and activities of the Men's Group, helping us create a space that truly benefits its members.
 
We’re looking for a Business Liaison Officer to join our friendly team
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of unpaid carers in employment by reducing carer poverty including fuel poverty and promoting financial resilience. You will be a proactive and compassionate professional, with experience of delivering work in communities, well organised, excellent communication and an excellent influencer.
 
Dementia-friendly screenings at Showroom Cinema (S1 2BX)
Showroom Cinema is now offering a monthly dementia-friendly movie screening on the last Tuesday of each month. Tickets are £5 and they offer free carer tickets as part of the CEA card scheme. Showroom Cinema is proud to be a recognised dementia-friendly organisation in association with The Alzheimer’s Society. View upcoming dementia-friendly film listings here.
 
Care Career Pathways event held on 25 July at Sheffield City Hall
Sheffield City Council are holding this event from 9am -3pm for people to find out more about the many different job roles within the adult care and health sector. There will be lots of advice and information, as well as plenty of opportunities to speak to people who are already working in the sector. Rotary Sheffield are running a Carers Cafe in S11 each month
Rotary Sheffield hope that this Cafe will be a great way for visitors to meet other carers, share experiences over a free coffee and a cake, and have a break from their caring role. All carers are welcome whatever their caring role and there is no need to book a place. This runs every 4th Saturday of the month at Banner Cross Methodist Church Hall (S11) from 10am to noon. 
 
Sheffield City Council want to hear your views on the future of housing
Sheffield City Council has drafted a new Housing Strategy and are keen to hear from anyone who calls Sheffield home. Your feedback will help them finalise a Housing Strategy that ensures safe, affordable and climate-ready homes for all. This survey is closing on 28 July. Sheffield by the Seaside is back at the Peace Gardens this summer 
Grab your buckets and spades as the seaside soon returns to Sheffield's Peace Gardens. Sheffield by the Seaside is back with a whole host of family fun including fairground rides, games, giant sandpit, visiting dinosaurs and TV/film characters, kids entertainment and a whole lot more. Open daily (from 10am to 6pm) this summer from 25 July until 26 Augus
