Online Services

Updated 22nd March 2020

In these uncertain and unfamiliar times, you may find it helpful to to maintain a pattern of worshipping together with other local Methodists this Sunday morning. Your church may already have organised something, but if not here are some ways you can join join an online or virtual service.

This is doubtless not a comprehensive list. Please let us know what your church is trying, so we can share creative ideas and point people to what you are doing.

All of us are learning quickly and some of these services will be new, untested and perhaps beyond the natural comfort zone of those leading them, so please be patient if there are any technical glitches. We remember and are grateful that God does not award us marks out of ten for technical proficiency in our public worship, but instead rejoices as we respond in praise using whatever gifts God has first bestowed on us.

As with any of our "normal" face to face services, don't be afraid to extend invitation to share in virtual worship to friends, neighbours and family. Many people are feeling dislocated and struggling to find hope or make sense of life at this time, and may find these services helpful.
