We’re delighted to report the Carer’s Leave Bill gained Royal Assent on 24 May and became the Carer’s Leave Act meaning it will now become law. This is great news for the millions of people in the UK who have to juggle their unpaid caring responsibilities with paid employment. Click on the image or link for more details from Carers UK about the Act on what it means for employees.

An invitation for carers to 'have your say' at a Monday 5 June meeting
If you are an unpaid carer (of any age) the Sheffield Carer Voice Group want to hear about your experiences of health or social care services to help improve them for other carers. You are an expert through your experience of caring and this is a chance to have your say in services, policies and decisions that affect you and the people you care for. We call this ‘carer voice’.
