A couple of things to highlight this week.
The first is that we are finding it a challenge to fill the rotas for Sundays. We have had a long time not being in church and so have got out of the usual rhythms and routines. Understandably some people need to change their days once the rota is made but we have little flexibility.
We have said that we will be open for Sunday services as long as we have enough people to do all that is necessary. The risk is that we may have to consider opening alternate weeks if we have not got enough people. The summer time is always a bit tricky but if we are to be open we need the offers of help.
Certainly, it makes the prospect of having refreshments at some point in the future a bigger challenge as we will need people to do that.
Paula and Tim are working hard to sort the rotas, please give them all the support you can, thank you.
The second thing to share is we are offering a zoom gathering opportunity for fellowship and worship; there will be some singing, some discussion exploring a theme.
We meet in the evening on the first and third Thursday of each month. So the next one is on 19th August at 7.15pm. The link is the same as our former Sunday services:
